The Blog
Here I occasionally report about my cycling trips. The “little ride” around the world took place from March 2022 to March 2024.
In case you are wondering what the button “Weiterlesen” means, it is German for “continue reading”. Unfortunately, I don’t have an option to translate this button.
A small note for all mobile phone users: in order to be able to display the captions, you have to click on the inconspicuous bright dot at the bottom right of the image view.
From Berlin to Gdańsk - sandy beaches, sandy paths
From Berlin we went to the Polish Baltic Sea coast and along it to Gdańsk. The Baltic Sea Cycle Path in Poland was very varied, but also with difficult sections. The detour to the sea was well worth it!
From Prague to Berlin - premium cycle paths and Elbe landscapes
After Prague we cycled the last part of the Vltava Cycle Path to Mělník. On the excellent cycle paths along the Elbe, we then went through the Elbe Sandstone Mountains via Dresden to Lutherstadt Wittenberg. From there it was only a short distance through the Brandenburg pine forest to the outskirts of Berlin.
From Lake Chiemsee to Prague - the beginning of the "Die Kleine Runde" is done!
Finally we are on our way - the first kilometers and meters of altitude are done! Our first leg of the journey took us from Lake Chiemsee via the Alz, Inn, Danube and Moldau Cycle Paths to Prague.
